Moosup River Farm is a small family farm founded in 1988 by Ingrid and Peter Fratantuono. Located in Greene Rhode Island on the Moosup River. Our farm produces fresh vegetables, honey, flowers, specialty hanging baskets and custom fed beef, turkeys, and pigs. All of the produce which we sell is farm fresh. There are no antibiotics or growth hormones fed to our animals. We grow the majority of our feed to assure quality and to maintain healthy animals. We believe in minimizing the use of chemicals in producing our vegetables and use an Integrated Pest Management approach to pests. IPM means we use row covers, traps, soaps, and natural predators to address pests in addition to crop rotation. The farm produces a large variety of 10 and 12 inch hanging flower baskets which are ready for sale in early May. We also have over forty varieties of potted annuals, herbs and vegetable plants available for sale. Our farm is open from May through November for plant , vegetable and flower sales. We offer Beef and Pork sales year round. Call for availability.

From Connecticut: Route 395 take route 14 East or Route 14 A East toward Rhode Island we are about 1.5 miles into Rhode Island from the Connecticut border on route 14. From Rhode Island: Take route 95 to Route 102 North (Exit 5B) follow Route 102 to Route 14 West follow Route 14 about 4 miles #1640 will be on your right. |
