The Moosup River Farm C.S.A. was developed to assure the continuation and success of our small family  farm. The C.S.A. provides our members with only the freshest produce available while preserving existing farm and forest land from development. Our C.S.A. is a partnership between the farm and the consumer. To continue to farm we need to be creative in  maintaining sales directly to  the consumer.

Our C.S.A. operates for eighteen weeks starting  the end of May and ending in early October. Weekly each member receives their share of the harvest from the farm. Members may pick up their share at the farm store located at 1 Snake Hill Road, Glocester or a single pick up at the farm in Greene on Wednesday Afternoons from 4-6 pm.

A Full share for eighteen weeks is $550.00

A Half share for eighteen weeks is $275.00

Membership fees are due in full by June 1.

Vegetable offerings change throughout the growing season. Some vegetables are only available during certain months however we try to always have some type of fruit available throughout the season. Depending on the harvest we plan to have over twenty-five different vegetables and herbs for our members.

In the Spring we have bedding and vegetable plants for sale and 10” and 12” hanging baskets. The flower varieties  grown in our greenhouse include New Guinea Impatiens, Double Impatiens, Nemesia, Scaevola, Verbena, Giant Snowflake, Begonia, Fuchsia, Torenia and Million Bells. Bedding plants being offered in June include: Marigolds, Zinnias and Asters.  Plus many other varieties too numerous to list.    The perennials available continues to grow. Come and see all the varieties.
